Camping, campfires, Pinewood Derby, service projects, and a lot of time outside — with your kid, not just dropped off. We've been doing this in Springfield for over 50 years.
In Pack 73, we’re all about encouraging boys and girls to make friends, be helpful to others, and do their very best no matter the outcome. With the help of powerful learning projects and exciting outdoor activities, we aim to teach children that doing their best can be a fun and rewarding experience—no matter the difficulty of the challenge.
Where and when we meet
Where and when we meet
Between September and June, dens (kids in the same grade) meet once or twice per month, usually on weeknight evenings, at Chisholm Community Center to work through "adventures" that help advance them through the Cub Scout ranks. Each den leader sets the specific days that dens meet. Curious? Come to a meeting before you sign up -- just email us and we'll tell you where to show up.
The entire pack will gather once per month to participate in fun activities our volunteer leaders plan each year such as:
